Elisabeth Steuble comes to us from Switzerland. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health Education from Temple University, and her Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has 15 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field, including community mental health, private practice and an outpatient addictions center. She worked for over 10 years as a nurse in the medical and public health fields in Switzerland, influencing her wholistic, mind-body philosophy. She is fluent in English, German and Swiss-German. Elisabeth is a Registered Yoga Teacher-200 hours and is also a Certified LifeForce Yoga ® Practitioner-1. Elisabeth feels passionate about the mind-body connection, and the integration of yoga in the healing process for depression and anxiety. She is Evergreen’s Yoga Instructor and offers ongoing Yoga workshops and classes at Evergreen, which are open to everyone. Please see the Yoga tab above. Elisabeth offers individual psychotherapy to adults of all ages. Her treatment approach is holistic, collaborative and concentrates on rediscovering who you are and what you love by developing new coping strategies for the inevitable stresses in life. She brings diverse counseling and personal experiences to her work, including a compassionate understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds, complex mental health struggles, and the difficult nature of addiction and its overcoming. Her medical background, coupled with her yoga training, further enhances her ability to help those with medical conditions and chronic pain.
