Clinicians
Blair Davis
Psy.D.

I am an empathetic therapist who listens deeply and asks questions to help you work through your concerns. I strive to help you gain insights, feel heard, and set goals and steps for change. My approach includes evidence-based techniques that target how you think (cognitive-behavioral therapy), build on your strengths and values (client-centered/humanistic therapy), and examine how your past experiences and relationships impact your current patterns and concerns (psychodynamic therapy), among other approaches.
I work within a multicultural framework that emphasizes respect for your identities and recognizes the impact of social, family, cultural, and political contexts. I have experience with gender-related concerns and identity, LGBTQ+ concerns, substance use issues and recovery, boundary-setting and other relational concerns, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, school and work issues, self-esteem, multicultural and discrimination issues, impact of family dysfunction, grief and loss, body image, sexual assault, and trauma. I provide individual therapy to adults.
I earned a B.A. in communications from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in communications from Temple University, and a Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have worked in several university counseling centers, a reduced-fee clinic, and a center for people with disabilities.
I look forward to working with you!
