Clinicians
Daniel Kauder
LPC

I've been working as a therapist since 2012, in a variety of locations; from inpatient hospitals of last resort, to community mental health centers like PATH, and a handful of private practices since 2017, I've worked and achieved lasting results with a huge swath of clients. I'm a firm believer in a two-prong approach to therapy: I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help refine a client's coping skills, emotional processing strategies, and self-care in the short-term; and a more existential therapy to clarify where the client wants to ultimately go in life, and how those refined skills can help them get there.
While I generally work with clients on their anxiety, depression, anger and trauma, I'm also adept at helping my clients overcome shame and guilt stemming from economic/financial expectations that may have been valid for their parents' generation, but no longer as achievable as they once were. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, and I'm fiercely supportive of those undergoing gender transitioning. Trans rights are human rights.
I'm very much looking forward to working with you!
