LCSW

As a therapist my goal is to join you on your journey of healing by building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, self-esteem, social concerns, and challenges adjusting to expected and unexpected life transitions. I approach psychotherapy with the belief that healing and balance are the result of a counseling process that respects every unique experience, and I consistently provide a non-judgmental, open and supportive therapeutic space where each client can feel comfortable, safe and empowered. We have the opportunity to work together to uncover the unlimited potential and strength within you. Together we will determine patterns that hinder balance, find new ways to approach issues, and reduce symptoms.
I have fifteen years of experience in clinical settings, with specific expertise working with vulnerable and at-risk youth and young adults with multiple mental health concerns, and a history of trauma and anger issues. My experience in these settings has enabled me to develop an expertise with this population.
My work is rooted in inclusivity, and I am passionate about working with individuals and couples within the LGBTQIA community. I have experience with individuals from numerous ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds that deepens my understanding of the connection between culture and our life experiences. Cultural competency and maintaining a sensitive and flexible approach are central to my work as a licensed therapist.
I look forward to working with you.
