Maria OHalloran

Ph.D.

Dr. Maria OHalloran is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her Ph.D. from Drexel University and has worked in a variety of clinical settings (both inpatient and outpatient), cultivating a therapeutic approach that is calm, compassionate, and empowering. Central to her work is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship fosters real, lasting change. She works to build trust and partners with clients to problem-solve and move toward meaningful goals.

Dr. OHalloran specializes in anxiety, depression, stress management, chronic pain, weight and eating disorders, body image concerns, and bariatric surgery (pre- and post-operative support). She works with young adults and adults in individual therapy and brings more than a decade of experience in weight-related concerns and disordered eating. Additionally, her strong research background fuels her commitment to evidence-based practice and staying current with empirically supported treatments.

Dr. OHalloran is passionate about helping clients recognize their own potential. She provides cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions, with an emphasis on the mind-body connection and how therapy can reshape patterns of thought and behavior to support healthier routines and coping skills.
