Nicole Gladden

LSW

I believe change happens when trust and safety are present. I place deep value in the client-therapist relationship and use a person-centered approach that is collaborative and strengths-based. I engage clients from a place of authenticity and compassion and value individuality and uniqueness. I hold two undergraduate degrees, from the University of Massachusetts and New Mexico Highlands University. I earned my MSW in social work at The University of Mississippi. I am focused on earning my LCSW and am currently practicing under clinical supervision.

I have experience building safe and nurturing therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents, young adults, parents, families, and diverse groups, and aim to always practice with cultural humility and understand how a client’s intersectionality impacts their daily life. My experience in schools, agencies, centers, and residential programs have given me experience supporting clients in navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, pain, neglect, sexual abuse/trauma, boundary struggles, and identity issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy in my practice. When working with children, I employ a variety of art modalities, games, mindfulness practices, and sand trays.

You do not have to feel alone. It would be an honor to start this journey with you.

As a pre-licensed clinician, I provide services under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional in accordance with state licensure requirements.
