Yamilet Santiago Davila

Psy.D.

Life moves quickly, and while therapy cannot reverse or stop time, it can make its passage more meaningful. This belief guides my work as a bilingual (English & Spanish) licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania.

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University, located in Puerto Rico, where I was proudly born and raised. I have worked in community mental health centers, non-profit organizations, public schools, a specialized oncology hospital, and university counseling centers. Every person I’ve had the privilege of working with in these settings has shared their valuable wisdom and perspective, which continues to inspire my work.

I aim to support individuals who are interested in understanding themselves, their emotions, and their patterns, while building self-compassion and strengthening their innate skills to handle life’s most difficult challenges, both internal and external. I especially enjoy supporting adultswith concerns around anxiety, difficult family relationships, self-doubt, trauma histories, chronic stress, perfectionism, questions about identity or life purpose, and/or experiences of socio-cultural oppression. Curious by nature, I bring thoughtful questions, professional discernment, a safe, non-judgmental stance, along with gentle yet honest challenges, to every session. Considering your needs and goals, my approach is tailored, drawing from research-based strategies like CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. I look forward to honoring your wisdom and creating a meaningful therapeutic experience with you.
